In House Laboratory

Both of our surgeries have a wide range of Laboratory equipment on site. Blood and urine analysis can be done quickly and provide results within 10 minutes.

This allows prompt assessment of emergency cases and routine pre-operative monitoring.

We do still use external Laboratories for certain samples and we have couriers that collect the samples twice daily, most results are returned the same say unless the test itself takes longer.

All lab results are automatically transferred to your animal’s clinical notes to allow access at any time including out of hours.

Our on site tests include,

• Hematology
• Biochemistry
• Urine analysis
• Microscopy
• Culture and sensitivity
• Blood pressure/ gas analysis
• Electrolyte levels
